Live at “geatmet:ES”. Thursday, June 24th.

Crazy things are going to happen on thursday in Cologne. German band “Komplizen der Spielregeln” are hosting an evening at artheater, where they’re going to play a show and while they’re at it, a handful of people, including myself, are going to work with just what the band is playing to make some kind of realtime-remixes out of the audio stream. The results are then presented almost instantly after the concert.

After the remix sets, there’s going to be some kind of DJ-/Live-”Battle” with Marc Lansley and myself. We’re going to jam and do funny things, music wise. Our first and only rehearsal was very promising and we’re actually excited to play this on stage.

Line-Up is as follows.

Komplizen der Spielregeln

New Delhi FM
Marc Lansley

Farewell, Monotonik!

Simon Carless has decided to put an (hopefully just temporary) end to his netlabel “Monotonik“. Existing from 1996 until just yesterday it was one of the very first netlabels around, and sure one of the best, too. For all the details read his post. For everything else, maybe just get some of the greatness that has been put out, and maybe also my Daylight Confusion EP, which was released there on new years of 2006.

Thanks, Simon!

New EP out soon

I’ve been working hard on new material since the release of the last album and some of those tracks are going to be released soon on the very fine “Der Kleine Grüne Würfel” label. It’s going to sound really different. More about this not too far from now.
