Simon Carless has decided to put an (hopefully just temporary) end to his netlabel “Monotonik“. Existing from 1996 until just yesterday it was one of the very first netlabels around, and sure one of the best, too. For all the details read his post. For everything else, maybe just get some of the greatness that has been put out, and maybe also my Daylight Confusion EP, which was released there on new years of 2006.
I’ve been working hard on new tracks in the last few months, and here’s one for you to listen. Probably won’t be here for too long, but there might be more as time passes by.
Taking place this Saturday in our atelier in Cologne Deutz the evening will start at 4pm with an exhibition by two artists who are sharing the room with us, after that from 9pm four live-sets are going to follow from We-Ark-Artists (Suod.Ulbeba, Bok.Boolekk, alex:ketzer and flur) and also myself accompanied by the great visuals of V2C. Entry is free. See you on Saturday!
Getting there: Go to Gebäude 9 and take the entrance as you normally would, then climb the stairs until you reach the third level. Go through the door on the right, then follow the music.
This years c/o pop-Festival put out a very nice Netlabel compilation for free download. “Cable Pollution Results”, a track of my current album “Row By” on Der kleine grüne Würfel, is also included.
I’ve been working hard on new material since the release of the last album and some of those tracks are going to be released soon on the very fine “Der Kleine Grüne Würfel” label. It’s going to sound really different. More about this not too far from now.
You’ll find: Information and download links for “Far From Yesterday”, “Daylight Confusion” and information about the current album “Meanwhile, The Second Hand Keeps Moving Backwards”
